It all began with building our little house using local technologies and blending traditional and modern materials in an enviable location. We soon realized that she had something special. In addition to the aesthetic beauty and thermal comfort, an unspeakable peace sensation emanates from the house; Perhaps because of the nature that invades everything through the glass walls.
We decided to share this wealth so that other people could also have wonderful moments there.
We specialize in receiving couples and creating days and nights of dream, passion and romanticism.
But you can come with friends and family as well! Kids love it! We receive up to 5 people if someone does not mind occupying the comfortable sofa that is in the living room. It's so nice to be together in My Tibet to cook, talk and sip with your friends and family!
THE PLACE
A vernacular house, located inside a conservation unit (Itatiaia Natural Monument), embedded in the mountains of Minas Gerais, 19 km far from Ouro Preto and 110 km from Belo Horizonte.
Built with the technology of wood-cutting (wood and clay), demolition wood and glass, it is the perfect place to rest, eat, pray, love!
My Tibet is the last of the 70 houses in the Itatiaia village, belonging to the municipality of Ouro Branco. From the living room or bedroom, the large glass walls unveil the woods, the mountains and the waterfall. It is the only thing that your sight will reach, besides the sky, the sunrise and the moon and the birds.
The rooms are spacious: the bedroom, the bathroom, the living room with kitchen! Only the porch balcony is tiny. The decoration mixes art, crafts, rustic and luxurious objects.
When you want to see people, go explore the village, which extends for 3 streets, totaling just over 1 kilometer in length. A sweetness, full of sweet details and beautiful and loving people!

We take care of everything and pamper you to the fullest! The bed linen is 300 thread Egyptian cotton fabricated in Italy. Personalized breakfast served on the porch or prepared indoors. Compar produtos locais
Você pode comprar lindos panos de prato da Odete, Tania e outras vizinhas, delicioso mel do Adilson, hortaliças e ovos caipiras da Marta... e muito mais coisas que a Fafá v contar
Participar da Missa
Momento de simplicidade e fé, ocorre às 7h da manhã no primeiro e no terceiro domingo de cada mês. A igreja deSanto Antonio do Itatiaia e seu cruzeiro possuem registros que indicam que são anteriores às igrejas de Ouro Preto.
Aí ocorreu um dos maiores roubos de peças acras de MG. Recentemente, a comunidade comemorou a recuperação do São João Batista Menino.
Ora, direis, ouvir estrelas!
O céu visto da janela é cheio de estrelas por causa da pouca luminosidade do vilarejo. Você pode também ver alua e o sol nascerem observando da janela.
Fazer caminhadas de diferentes graus de dificuldades
Você pode caminhar por 2 km em uma estradinha e terra, parte do Circuito CRER ( Caminhos religiosos da Estrada Real) que começa na porta do Meu Tibet, leve, tranquila, deliciosa. As moradoras costumamos fazer essa caminhada rezando silenciosamente o terço.
Mas existem muitas trilhas de diferentes graus de dificuldades. Recomento da que leva até a Cruz de Pedra no alto da serra e a que leva até a cachoeira que você vê da janela do Meu Tibet.
Comer muito bem
Você pode optar entre cozinhar em casa, experimentar a deliciosa culinária mineira de um dos três restaurantes do vilarejo ou encomendar um prato especial de nossa vizinha Soliane, que leva para você na hora marcada
Nadar nas diversas cachoeiras
Bem pertinho do Meu Tibet você pode ir ao Moinho de Pedra, construção tricentenária, ainda utilizada coletivamente pela comunidade para fazer o fubá.
Pode também ir até a cachoeira que vemos da janela do Meu Tibet ou ir até a Ponte do Calixto. Essas três opções são uma caminhada leve, com uma paisgem encantadora, mas você não vai conseguir exatamente nadar, porque não possuem grande profundidade. Para nadar mesmo, recomendamos a Cacoeira Escondida (vamos contar como chegar lá, distante 3 km do Meu Tibet) e as de Santo Antonio do Salto, Chapada e Lavas Novas.. Nenhuma fica distante mais que 8 km.
